Abstract: June 2008 is set as the date by which all agencies' infrastructure (network backbones) must be using IPv6 and agency networks must interface with this infrastructure. This memorandum and its attachments provide guidance to the agencies to ensure an orderly and secure transition from Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) to Version 6 (IPv6).
